I know. You thought I had died. No, honestly I got stuck on this entry. I have a lot of characters that had annoyed me, but the most annoying character?
I had thought about Gaius Baltar from Battlestar Galactica, but he was interesting sometimes and short, which I found endearing as he smarmed next to Tricia Helfer.
Then I moved onto Nikki from Heroes and she almost won, until I realized that she didn't annoy me as much as this next character.
Callie's pointing at the winner. The baby on Grey's Anatomy, which I like to call Plot Device Sloan-Torres... I'm pretty sure that's what they're going to name her. It's the number one on my list.
Normally I would find annoyance in the actor's portrayal, but here I'm just annoyed with the entire existence of the child.
Is it slightly growing on me? Eh.
If in the next episodes I see the sometimes adult acting characters of Arizona, Callie, and Mark to be able to hold conversations with one another that are not the same exact conversation they have been having since the realization of the inception.
So while the first mentioned characters were annoying in the way they were changed Plot Device just annoys me in the actual conceptual idea of lazy.
Was it the easiest way to create conflict amongst an already shaky trio of relationships? Yes. It was the easiest way. (See previous rant)
So Plot Device, you might become a person I care about, but mostly I wish I could have been calling you Adoption Story or Interesting Donor Story.
